Add some white halo when publishing

Feb 25, 2019

Hello,

I have a bug with Articulate Presenter... again. My client keep coming to me with issue related to Articulate Presenter and it really becomes tiring for me... Please answer me that you know how to fix this one...

I have a display inconsistency in the same pptx / presenter file. Sometimes the published display is correct, sometimes it adds a white halo under the underlined text. Do you know this problem? Do you have a solution ? Please find attached sample screenshots and the publish settings. (1ap is the wrong one, 2ap is the correct one, the 1ppt and 2ppt are to compare) It happens in publish & in review.

Best regards,

Hello Alyssa,

Thanks for you reply.

I am using Presenter 360. But the files come from a previous version ('09 if I remember well) and had been upgraded months ago to 360. However, the "underline" comes form the 360 version. More than one file is concerned.

I forgot to tell I published HTML5 first / Flash second.

It happens on Firefox and internet explorer as well, on my LMS and if I open it locally, directly on my machine. The bug is here even in the Articulate Presenter "preview mode".

Bests,

Alyssa Gomez

Hi Joyce,

Since you're seeing the issue in Preview mode, I'm wondering if you're running into a bug.

With your permission, we can take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. We'll delete it when we're done troubleshooting. If that works for you, you can upload your Presenter '09 file privately to our support team here. We'll upgrade it to Presenter 360 and let you know what we find!

Hi,

Richard find an answer, please find the solution below:

  • The white line appears when the Title placeholder in the Master Slide uses accented letters (é) with underline.
  • It is possible the placeholder text box is corrupted. Please recreate the Title placeholder for the affected layouts in the Master Slide. It should fix the issue
  • This resolved the issue.

Thanks for your help.
