Articulate Presenter 09 file corruption etc

Sep 09, 2015

Lots of issues. I would appreciate thoughts. First, every semester I have to re register and enter activation code again. Each time I do it the prompt says "you will not have to do this again". Next , University dropped BB and adopted Canvas. The initial import last year finally went well. This year the tutorial file appears corrupted , for lack of a better term. The videos don't run and text and animations on several slides do not work. I deleted problem slides and redid them. They play in preview but not after publishing. I haven't even attempted the Canvas re upload yet due to the multiple issues

Hi, Marsha -- So sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing. Can you please confirm that you are working locally on your C: drive when creating or editing courses? It's also important to note that working on a network drive or an external (USB) drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources.

In addition, please check out this information on Unexpected or Erratic Behavior in Articulate Studio '13, as well as How to Repair Articulate Studio '13. I hope that helps, and it may be a good idea to test your published output on the SCORM Cloud as well, as it is the industry standard for LMS testing. If you do not see the same behavior in the SCORM Cloud as you are seeing after upload to Canvas, you may want to reach out to your LMS provider for further assistance.

Hi, Marsha -- My apologies that I did not realize you were using '09 instead of '13! The information should be the same in the articles, but for good measure, here are the '09 versions for your reference:

Please let me know if issues persist, and we will see what more we can do to be of assistance. :)
