Articulate & Safari 5

Hi there,

I hope everyone is having a great week.  I have a slight issue with Articulate '09 not playing nice with Safari 5.  In essence, when I attemt to launch a course from my LMS (TrainCaster) all I get it a white screen--the content doesn't load.

I'm pretty sure it's not TrainCaster, as I CAN use Safari to launch courses & quizzes created using the LMS tools.  Here's are the particulars of the situation.  Thanks in advance for your help! 

  • Course prepared using PowerPoint 2007 & Articulate '09 (SCORM 2004)
  • Launched in TrainCaster on a Win 7 PC, using Safari 5.1
  • Flash 10.3 installed

Hi Brian & welcome to Heroes,

I just tested a course in the SCORM Cloud using Safari 5 on my Windows 7 machine and it launched as expected:

https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/guest/SignInForm

I'd recommend uploading your course there & testing it.  If it works as expected, you'll need to contact your LMS vendor for additional support.
