audio files missing?

One of our designers sent me their published Articulate file including the native powerpoint.
The player file plays just fine with audio, however, when I open the native powerpoint and select the audio editor from the Articulate ribbon...there is no audio.
??
Apparently the audio has become disassociated from the native file.
Any ideas where I might be able to salvage the audio from?
Thanks!

Hi there Troy,
How did they share the project files with you, exactly? If they haven't already, try asking them to share a Presenter Package. This should contain the files included in the presentation.
Here's how you can create a Presenter Package
I hope this helps :)
Thanks!
Sounds like they forgot the .PPTA file that goes with the course, Have them send that. You opened the PPT file so there is already a fairly small sized ppta file that was created with the current course name.
Rename both the ppt(x) and ppta file that was sent the same (keeping the extensions) and then try it. The audio should reattach to the course.
