Republishing an older Studio 13 course (originally converted from 9) and updated Engage interactions are just hour-glassing in presentation when published. (They do work when previewing just Engage) It does not matter if I click on Next or on the interaction button, cannot advance to next.
Anyone has any insight as to what may be wrong? Thanks!
Hi, Anna -- I see that Daniel is assisting you here, but if issues persist, you may want to share your Presenter Package so we can take a closer look. And there are also a few general troubleshooting steps you may want to try to see if they help:
Yes, I am working locally and I just now downloaded Studio 13 on my new computer. I would hope it is not yet corrupted. :) I will go ahead and send you the Presenter package.
Hi, Anna - Thank you for the update, and for providing your Articulate package. I will do some testing shortly, and get back to you as soon as possible with my findings.
Upon further review of your file and testing the published output in Temphare, it appears that the Engage interactions are functioning as intended from what we can see. Please click on the link below to test your published output, and this article on Publishing and Sharing Articulate Presenter Content may be of some assistance with respects to testing in the intended environment.
This is great, thank you but when I try to play it in tempshare it says “a plugin is needed to display this content.” Could not locate anything on line… suggestion?
Also, I figured previewing the output on my own C drive where I also built the course should give me an accurate picture. Interactions are stuck on hourglass after the second screen within all 3 of the interactions in the course?!?
Hi, Anna -- If you are using Firefox to try to view the published output via the Tempshare link, please see this information on how to install the Flash plugin.
And with regards to viewing your published content on your C: Drive, if you view published content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features to fail. To test your content and share it with others, you'll need to upload it to the environment for which it was published.

Hi, Anna: Sorry about this.
1. So the rest of the course works fine?
2. How did you insert the interactions? -- by going into Engage and publishing them into PowerPoint you have open?
I went from Powerpoint and inserted the Engage file into the next slide.
Oh and yes, the rest of the course works fine. Thanks!
I'd try going into Engage and publishing into your PowerPoint. At least try
it once to see if it works?
