Hi Ana - that's curious. I just tried this in both PowerPoint 2007 and PowerPoint 2010 and it seemed to preview fine in both. Have you applied any animations applied to the textboxes? Or any other attributes at all? What happens if you draw a shape (instead of a textbox, and fill that with an image, and apply text to it? Do you get the same behavior?
Hi Ana, hmm, I don't think it's the PowerPoint version, since I just tried it with PPT 2003 and it seemed to work there also, at least for me. If you are able to get the effect you want by creating a shape (rather than a textbox) and a applying a fill & text to that, then that might be the simplest workaround. But if you like, you are welcome to submit a support case if you'd like a support engineer to take a closer look at why the textboxes aren't appearing with the fill when previewed or published.

Hi Jeanette,
Thanks for your answer.
In fact, I'm still using the PowerPoint 2003.
The textbox itself (shape) doesn’t have any animation and no other attributes were applied.
If I draw a shape (instead of a textbox, and fill that with an image, and apply text to it, it works just fine.
Do you think the problem might be on the PowerPoint version?
Thank you.

Thank you Jeanette, I think that by now we will use the workaround suggested by you.
In the future, if we change our mind, we will submit a support case.
Thanks and have a nice day!
