Hi, I have 3 flash files (.flv) with no spaces or weird characters in the name...all about 2:30 minutes long...they all play slow in Presenter when I publish or even preview.
Also they are missing audio until I rewind the player a few seconds and then suddenly you can hear the audio. (?)
I've tried inserting the flash files into the slide (my preferred method) AND using Engage...same results either way.
Sorry Shaun, I get the same issues, I checked goanimates site and the videos they produce are at 24 fps, that in itself would not make the video run slow, (in fact it should run fast), do you have articulate video encoder, I would try running it through that
okay I imported each mp4 into the Articulate Flash encoder (extremely slow in the encoder but I made it work). So now they play at the right speed although the quality is sub par ([pixalation).
I still have the issue of the first slide not playing audio until I take the scrubber head and move it back a little...then suddenly it plays.
I'm really frustrated because I feel like every time I use Articulate I get less than the quality I'm looking for or a couple of bugs to monkey with. I almost have to plan a couple days of debugging even though I know I'm building it simply.
Has there been a solution to this because I am having the same problem Flash file inserted on slide. Audio seems to load first time and play but if you return to slide, it doesn't play unless you use the scrubber, at which point it plays fine. Audio isn't in the flash, it's a separte file imported into Articulate.

Hi Shawn,
Can you tell me what program you used to create the FLV files?
I downloaded them from youtube...they were flash files when I downloaded them and have not converted in anyway.
I wonder what the original framerate was, do you have a link to the original files?
yes, I created the video using GoAnimate and then uploaded to YouTube...then I downloaded with my Mac (command + option + A) the flash file.
Here's one of the flv. files giving me trouble...thanks!

Thanks Phil. It's already a flash file so when I try and run it through Articulate video encoder it doesn't see it
I meant the original mpeg file you had from goanimate
ahhh....I didn't try that...I uploaded directly to YouTube and didn't get the mpeg ....good idea...stand by
