FLV import

I have a strange problem which I hope somneone can help with.

I have encloded some WMV files using Video Encoder and am attempting to import them into Presenter.

Each one I try hangs the system, namely the movie shows in the import box but then it all locks up with the classic "Not Responding" message appearing on the input box.

The movies are about 10 to 14 mb in size. Is this too big ?? I am sure I have imported bigger previously.

Hi Bob, I have seen larger movies imported as well. But you might want to test things out by inserting a smaller movie first and seeing if the same behavior occurs. Also, change the quality settings on your published file to see if you can get a smaller size file for import. Let us know how this affects things.

Thanks, I decided to encode them using Adobe Media Convertor and they now work. I think it may have had something to do with the preview image in the original WMV file

Ingenuity. Yip, all software can be a bit wonky sometimes. Hence the need for tech support . Glad you got it working.
