Image issues
Aug 26, 2011
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help. I am building application training in Articulate. part of my problem is thta the application (which is web based) is too big when I take screenshots and add them to Presenter. This results in poor quality screenshots which do not look professional. I have tried to take the screenshots (using Snag-IT) while changing my monitor resollution to 1024 X768 (essentially the smallest I can go and still see the application properly.)
The problem is that if I want to fill my Powerpoint slide It has to be resized to 720 X 540 therefore the image becomes blurry. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fill the Presenter/Powerpoint slide while showing all or most of the application window would be greatly appreciated.
The only solution I have so far is to create a Captivate movie and placing it as a Flash movie on a slide that opens in a different window.
I desperately need help.

you can improve the image quality a bit by fixing the player at optimal size, although it will still be a bit blurry

Hi
I am very new to articulate (1 day). I am wondering how you add multiple images into the one screen, please? I can get one image but not 2 or 3.
PLUS, Can I hover the mouse over the top of an image and have information pop up?
Tom;
If you, or someone you know has Photoshop, there is a program from On-one Software called Genuine Fractals. It will increase the resolution of an image - I've had a lot of success with it. Free download is available here http://www.ononesoftware.com/products/suite/perfect-resize/?ind
Jeff;
Not sure what the problem is in adding multiple images to a screen. You can add as many images to a screen as you want - just like PowerPoint.
As far as hovering the mouse for information pop up; you can't do this in Articulate, unless you add a Flash file. You could build a similar solution in Engage http://www.articulate.com/support/engage09/?p=129 (information pops up when button is clicked), or hyperlink a button on one slide to another slide with the information already opened http://www.articulate.com/blog/articulate-101-using-hyperlinks-in-presenter/
