There are a handful of posed images / different expressions in the Adobe Exchange. I recall someone posting a link to similar photos in the Articulate Forums a while back, but I was unable to locate it.
Many of the royalty free and even microsoft photo sites have images with white or black backgrounds. In the search box type "white background" or "black background" along with whatever you are searching for you can find some great photos. It is really easy at that point to edit out the white/black background.
Brian did a screenr using a free photo editing program called Artweaver.
If you have PhotoShop the edge refine tools are really outstanding and help to create isolated characters from practically any image. This plug-in helps to take some of the skill / judgment calculations out of the equation.
