Missing subpoints in the menu

May 06, 2011

Hello,

in Slides Properties I've marked some slides as hidden and other as subpoints of main points. Now I have the problem that not all the subpoints are visible in the menu after publication (subpoints of some main points are visible and other not) For example I see points 9.1, 9.1.1, 9.1.2, 9.1.3 and 9.2 but I don't see 9.2.1, 9.2.2

What could be the reason?

I've chcecked that all hidden slides hava appropriate level and the first slide with a new point (if there are many) is always visible.

Hi Bartlomiej,

If you change the level for a slide in Slide Properties, you may find that the level for the following slides is also changed.  Sometimes, this is to be expected.  Slide levels cannot be skipped.  Therefore, subsequent slides may adjust automatically to prevent a gap in slide levels.  For example, an inferior slide that follows a level 1 slide must be level 2.

There is a known issue where changing the level for a slide might also increase the level of the following inferior slides by one even if no slide levels have been skipped.  This issue is currently under investigation by our Quality Assurance team.

The suggested method for assigning slide levels is to:

1)  Open Slide Properties.

2)  Unhide all slides (if applicable).

3)  Starting from the top of the list and working down to the last slide, assign the appropriate slide levels.

4)  Starting from the top of the list and working down to the last slide, hide any slides that should be hidden.

5)  Click OK to save your changes and close Slide Properties.
