Problem with Presenter and Engage

Nov 09, 2011

Greetings All,

I’m working on a scenario-based activity.  Like a typical scenario, you ask a question and then have three answers to choose from.  The three answers are long, so I decided to use a labeled graphic to display the choices. I embedded it into a presenter slide.  I made the slide transparent and then added hyperlinks to the master slide so that the learner could make their selection on the same slide.  The problem is that the hyperlinks aren’t working after I publish. Could it be that the labeled graphic is blocking the hyperlinks even though it doesn’t look like it?  I don’t know what to do now?   Any help you could provide is appreciated.

Hi Roxanne. I'm not quite sure I understand but here are a couple of things to try. If the labeled graphic is sitting over your hyperlinks then it will block them as you won't actually be able to click on them. Also if you are only previewing (rather than publishing) then your hyperlinks won't work either until you actually publish.

I'm not sure how you have used the labeled graphic but you could also try using the tab interaction for your scenariowith the intor being the question and then each tab being a possible answer.
