When I pull in .wav files to Articulate '09 and try to sync the files, I hear buzzing, like the audio files are not being recognized or that there's something wrong with them. They sound fine on their own. I've tried re-naming the files. I even opened a new Ppt file and copied over the slide content, then re-imported the audio files, with the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks. - Andrea
If you are experiencing unexpected issues with audio you have recorded via Articulate -> Record Narration or Articulate -> Import Audio some common solutions can be found here:
Andrea, what Dwayne states above is exactly the problem. If your files have been recorded at anything above 16bit, 44.1 kHz WAVs then they will need to be resampled, otherwise, re-recorded. You can resample the current files using Audacity and many other audio editing tools. Its a fairy simple process although time consuming depending on how much audio you have. Let me know if you need additional help with this.

As stated in the article, we recommend using 16 bit 44 KHZ PCM WAV files for best results.
