I recently created course through Articulate, but I would like to restrict the course only to certain users to access it. I was just wondering if this was possible? If so, how could I?
I have it online and LMS. I am also using storyline as well for the iPad version. I think my main concern is more about restricting users on the iPad version since the courses have to be uploaded to a webserver.
Thanks for the info. That might be tricky though, because if your LMS or webpage doesn’t require a login, then your learners will likely be able to use the Articulate Mobile Player. But if your LMS or webpage does require a login, as to restrict access, learners might not be able to use the Articulate Mobile Player, because browsers cannot pass security credentials to iPad apps unless the LMS supports Tin Can API.
Hmm maybe a workaround could be to restrict access to the course by means of an access code of sorts? You could set up a password 'login' in Storyline that users would need to enter to get past the first slide and into the course. You could distribute this password beforehand to only to the users allowed access. In this example attached, the user will have to enter the correct password i.e. 'password' in order to proceed to the next slide via the next button on the player...

Hi Anthony, welcome to Heroes!
How do you have your course published? Are you hosting it online, or are you using an LMS? Or maybe a CD?
