Please help. I have never seen this before. A tester was testing my course in our LMS after already testing it once. We re-registered her and this is what she received. The reason I'm writing to the forums is the symbol with it's color, etc, looks like it may be coming from Articulate. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (I've attached doc showing what the tester gets.) Thanks as always.
Thanks for including the attachment, but that symbol is not something we produce. Have you had a chance to speak with your LMS yet? Which LMS are you using? Perhaps other LMS users will be familiar with it and chime in with some advice...
Peter, thank you for responding so quickly. I talked with our LMS folks and they say they have never seen this before and it looks to them as if it is coming up as if the course is "trying" to start. In other words, they believe it is coming from the Articulate not the LMS. So far only one tester has experienced this but you can see why I'd be remiss to let it go production with this unexplained symbol showing up. Do you have any other ideas I could share with the LMS folks
When dispatching a course to multiple users, I know it can be tricky getting everyone to use the proper configurations for which the course was designed. One idea to prevent issues with viewing your content might be to include a "minimum requirements"-type disclaimer, just to let users know ahead of time what they'll need to view your content without issue.
Here's a quick reference for the minimum requirements:
Flash Player 6.0.79 or later (http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash) (Flash Player 7 or later is recommended), and one of the following browsers:
WINDOWS: Internet Explorer 6 and later, Firefox 1.x and later, Safari 3 and later, Google Chrome, Opera 9.5 and later MACINTOSH: Firefox 1.x and later, Safari 3 and later LINUX: Firefox 1.x and later
Do you happen to know which browser the tester is using?

Thanks Peter. We're using SumTotal. Thanks for eliminating that it is an Articulate message.
