Due to the upgrades made to the Presenter 13 player, you cannot use templates created in Presenter 09. If you uninstall Presenter 13, it won't automatically reinstall Presenter 09, but you can use the information here to reinstall and you'll need to activate with your serial number again.

If I uninstall my trial version of 13, will 09 reinstall automatically? And will my templates be there? This is a time-critical issue!
