1. When I publish my presentation as an LMS publish is the output Flash, HTML or both?
2. When I upload the presentation to my Absorb LMS I upload the zip file I create when publishing and then I select the index_lms.html. Does this mean I am uploading the presentation in HTML and not using any Flash output?
I am asking because we will be migrating to a new version of Absorb (Absorb 5) and it is not compatible with Flash. I am not clear as to whether the presentations I have uploaded into my current version of Absorb are Flash or not.
Thank you for the quick response. But I am still confused. I had already read the articles that you included, but I need to know more. I guess that answers part 1 of my question, but not part 2.
If you're pointing to the index_lms.html that's still the Flash version of the course, but if your browser or device doesn't allow for Flash, they'll be presented with the HTML5 output (if you've enabled that as a publishing option). Additionally you may want to review this article on how the Flash, HTML5, or AMP content will be displayed for your LMS.
If you want to direct solely to the HTML5 output, you can point to the index_lms_html5.html page. although it's not what we'd recommend based on users who may be accessing it in unsupported browsers or devices.

Hi Mike!
You choose the settings that you would like during publishing as you can see in this tutorial.
