I took the audio from several slides and edited each one to stop at a certain point. I cut the audio and the message said that it was "saved to my clipboard."
I would like to take those cut parts and add them to other slides but cannot find my clipboard or where these clips are stored.
Only one audio portion would only be available on the clipboard when you cut it, to retrieve the audio you would just choose to paste in the editor. It sounds like you cut more than one audio clip and the new one would always displace the last cut audio clip.
If you want to move audio to another slide I find it easier to copy the object on the timeline, paste it on another slide and then do the editing
