I need Ungraded Graded Question for my quiz
Oct 06, 2011
Hi,
I'm working on my first Articulate project for my policy department. They are keen to have a quiz, with the question types found in the graded section of articulate (True/False in particular). They want the quiz to be a learning tool, and as such don't want it graded. I've managed to set everything to ZERO and removed the pass/fail element. However my problem is that the quiz questions themselves view showing that they have scored 0 out of 0 so far. How can I get rid of this text?
I can't do the submit all option either, as there is feedback with each answer.
I hope someone can help, thank you.

Fiona - You should be able to control this in the Player Template Builder. On the Layout tab uncheck "display cumulative score with each question" and this text won't display in your quiz.
Good call, on disabling the cumulative score on the player template, Deb!
@Fiona: you might also wanna uncheck "Display question point value too," else the points will show up in the upper-right corner of the quiz player. And, if your quiz has a question navigation panel in the upper left, there is some scoring info that shows up there too...you'll likely want to unmark the two items shown below under "Question List."
Thank you both for such quick replies. I'm thinking I may be working in an earlier version of Articulate, I'm working in Articulate '09, which doesn't appear to have this layout - and most importantly - I can't see the functionality referred to within the Player Template.
Any other thoughts please?
NOt having the best evening, can't get my earlier reply to delete. just had a lightbulb moment, and realised i'm working within a standard template. Have gone back to basics, and found the exact pages referred to. Thank you for replies - most helpful indeed. Looks as though we're all working in '09.
Hey Fi ... it's within Quizmaker. Open your quiz in Quizmaker, and click Player Templates on the toolbar:
Then click the Edit button, and choose the Layout tab on the window that appears. Then you'll see the window with the options we were talking about.
That help?
Ha, guess we were posting at the same time. Glad you're all set now!
