I'm very new to articulate and apologize if this has been covered; I was unable to find any information on it.
I'm building a quiz in Quizmaker with a video when the user answers the question incorrectly. I'm wondering how I can publish the quiz to incorporate it into Rise?
Welcome, Nat! No apology necessary, we're so happy you're here ☺️
Great question! You would first need to import your Quizmaker quiz into Storyline 360 – here's how! Then, use the Storyline block to embed that course in Rise – here's how to do just that!
Give that a try, and let us know if you have any questions!
This would be a great feature to build. I have a ton of courses in English and Spanish that I'd like to covert to Rise 360, but am putting it off because I don't want to retype all of the quiz questions. :)
This isn't a feature we've added to our feature roadmap yet! I'll update my team on this feature request and make sure to advocate on everyone's behalf.
I'll keep you updated in this discussion if this feature makes it on our roadmap!
Most of our graded quizzes require a 100% score. Can I set a graded Quizmaker quiz so that a user only has to re-do the questions they answered incorrectly in the previous attempt/s?
It would be just great and easier to be able, in Rise, to export directly the quiz that we made in quizmaker and that we publish in Review 360, without the need to utilise storyline 360.
Is this something that you plan to add soon ? It's seem so easy to implement and it will be of a great help !
I would like to add something to my question ! When I creat a quiz on quizmaker there isn't anymore the possibily to publish in Articulate 360 (as it was said in this video https://youtu.be/1dxBEsRlxqQ?t=40) . So I'm wondering if it's something that is not anymore possible to do? How can I import my quiz made on quizmaker o rise ?
The option Articulate 360 from that version of Quizmaker in the video you shared is now called Review 360 in Quizmaker 360.
However, you won't be able to import directly to Rise 360 from a Quizmaker project. As mentioned above, you will need to publish from Storyline if you want to embed it in Rise 360 using a Storyline block.
Thanks for your answer.
But this is not the same to export to review and to export to articulate
360. If I export to review I cannot add it to rise!
So is there anyway to export to to articulate ?
The option to publish to Review 360 (formerly Articulate 360) remains the same - only the name has been changed. This update was released back on January 23, 2019.
I'm curious to know how you've imported your Quizmaker contents (published to Articulate 360/Review 360) to Rise 360 in the past. Would you be able to share the details here with us or send along to our team here?
Thank you for your aswer but what you said "The option to publish to
Articulate 360 is now called Review 360." it is not clear to me.
Indeed, when I publish directly from quizmaker to review 360, I do not have
a SL (storyline) file but a QM (quizmaker) file. The problem is that Rise
360 do not read a QM file.
So what I'm doing now, and I don't know if it's the right way to do it
1) I creat my quiz on quizmaker
2) I save it on my desktop as a QM file
3) I open the quizmaker quiz in articulate
4) I send it to review (as a SL file)
5) I add a storyline block to Rise and go to Review to take my quiz
As you can see it is a lot of steps just to import a quiz to RISE.
Do you have any advice to save some time and be more efficient ?
And for your answer, I didn't use Storyline till this year.
The option "Publish to Articulate 360" that you see in the video you shared, existed in Quizmaker 360 until January 2019. As you can see in our version history, it became "Publish to Review 360" after that time. It was simply a name change, which did not change the functionality of the option.
If you want to insert a Quizmaker project into Rise 360, the process is what you described:
and anyone else that might be able further assist...
Is there a setting that allows us to use the option described above:
Quizmaker Quiz -> Imported to Storyline -> Published to Review 360 -> Embedded into Storyline Block in Rise project
to trigger LMS reporting for the Rise course to Pass/Incomplete and set the score they need to achieve?
Say for instance, only a score greater than 80% or passes the course?
Basically, I'm trying to get a Quiz I have embedded into a Rise Course to mimic the storyline publish settings you would have available with a Storyline published course.
I need the quiz we use for the course to do 3 things:
Set a Passing Score
Randomize Question Order
Generate only a set number (20 questions) randomly pulled from a larger question bank (100 questions)
I'm thinking the only option might be to add additional code manually to one of the exported SCORM files?
Alternatively, the NEW Rise Quiz feature (building question banks directly inside Rise) allows you to:
Set a Passing Score
Randomize Question Order
but does NOT allow you to set number (20 questions) randomly pulled from a larger question bank (100 questions).
Please help! This is a hard set requirement for our project...

Is there a way t o import the quiz questions into the Articulate Rise format so they are still mobile responsive in the same way?
Hi Bailey!
There isn't a way to import quiz questions into a Rise 360 quiz. Instead, you'll want to create each question manually.
Let me know if you have other questions!

Is there any plans to allow for Export of Quiz Banks from out of Storyline or Quizmaker...this seems like a really big miss!

Hi Everyone - quick question from a new user:
Most of our graded quizzes require a 100% score. Can I set a graded Quizmaker quiz so that a user only has to re-do the questions they answered incorrectly in the previous attempt/s?
Thanks, Cheryl
Hi Cheryl, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
I appreciate you chiming in to share what you're working on. This is not a feature within Quizmaker.
I see that you have Articulate 360, which includes Storyline 360. Storyline 360 does have a feature to retry only incorrect questions:
Storyline 360: Allow Learners to Review and Retry Only Incorrect Questions

Hello again,

Hi, Tsipora.
I hope this helps.

OK Articulators...
Sorry for my long info dump above...
But, for anyone interested or having similar issues, I think I have found the solution we need!
