Hi Virak! Yes, you can include only the points score on y our results slide.
From the questions list tab, click on Edit Results to access the Result slide. By default Quizmaker includes both the points & percentage score. You can just remove the ones that display the percentages. They are represented as follows:
That didn’t give the results I was looking for from those instructions. That changed 80% into .8. I was looking for a way to count points period. If I gave 10 points for Q1 and 30 points for Q3 I still wanted an 80% pass percentage.
What I found was %Results.PassPercent%0 (note the 0 at the end) gave the result of 10 for a correct answer on a slide assigned only 1 point value. 30 if only points 3 were assigned. Whatever you type after the % will display next to the actual number. 1 become 10. 3 becomes 30.
For the actual scored points, %Results.ScorePoints%0 (again notice the 0), result in 10 for Q1 and 30 for Q3 when the answer correctly.
So, I indicate to the learners they need 80% to pass. That equals 80 points. I can assign a higher point value to the more challenging question and lower points to the warm-up questions.
Thanks for popping in and sharing both your thoughts and solutions in this thread. It could certainly help others that may run across this in the future.
