Sharing draft quizzes with SMEs
May 15, 2013
There is an option to "send" an unpublished quiz via email, but when I attempt to do this I am get the following: "An error has been encountered with preparing the email. Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client (windows Live Mail) can not fulfill the messaging request. Please install or configure your mail client as the default mail client. error code 2." Also, when I add the ability for someone taking a test to email results, I get the following error messages: First: "This form is being submitted using email. Submitting this form will reveal your email address to recipient and will send form data without encrypting it for privacy." Then: "Access violation at address 590CFEZ in module "MSHTML.DLL." Help please, this is very confusing, I am really unsure of what is going on, where to begin trouble shooting. thank you! Laura

Hi Laura,
Do you have a mail client installed on your machine? Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc.?
You'll need to have one of these, or other mail clients, installed on your machine and set to as your default mail client on your system.
The other error sounds like a security error or conflict error. I'm not sure if that's happening because you don't have a mail client, maybe an antivirus conflict, or permissions conflict?
Laura,
I also forgot to mention - if you're sharing the quiz with others, so they can also work on the file, all you need to do is send them the .QUIZ file. You won't actually need to send it from withing Quizmaker.
Thanks!
