Screencast Doesn't Play in Software or When Published

I've just downloaded a trial version of Replay, but I'm having a lot of difficulty getting it to work for me. First it didn't seem to capture any video (just sound), so I tried disconnecting my second monitor and choosing not to use the webcam and I managed to get the screen capture to work.
However, whenever I click "play" in Replay nothing plays. The play bar just sits there. When I try to publish the video, I get the file but when I execute the video file I get the error message "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...

Sorry to hear about the issue's you've encountered with Replay. Can you please follow the troubleshooting steps below if Replay is not behaving as expected:

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, I've worked my way through all of them and I don't seem to be having any luck. I did install a trial of Storyline, and that does seem to be capturing the screen and sound successfully as video, so it may be something specific to Replay.
