2 Reset Results in a Result slide

Oct 22, 2019

Hi, I'm trying to create a quiz that allows the user to retake only the questions they got incorrectly for their first 3 attempts by clicking a retry button. After the 3 attempts, the retry button is replaced by a reset button which resets the result slide entirely including the questions that were answered correctly.

Now, I set two Reset Result slides triggers in one slide. The first trigger resets only the incorrect answers, and the 2nd one which appears after the 3rd attempt, resets the quiz entirely.

The problem is that whenever I try to set one of the trigger to reset only the incorrect answer, the other one is also changed involuntarily and vise versa.

Is there a way that I could have two reset results trigger? One only resetting the incorrect answers, and one resetting the entire quiz.

A not so great workaround might be to remove the RETRY button after 3 tries and replace it with a message that the user would need to relaunch the quiz to start over if they wish to attempt a better score. Our LMS would register the EXIT event as a completed course and relaunch would start it over from scratch.  Ugh.

I've encountered exactly the same problem.

I wanted to build a vocabulary training exercise that allows learners to choose if they want to repeat the words they got wrong or if they want to do the complete exercise again - so I need one button with a trigger that resets only incorrects questions and a second button that resets everything. But like Vreativ Brainstorm mentioned, that's not possible at the moment.

Thanks, Ina (and everyone)!

I've gathered a few of the feature requests mentioned here along with this conversation and linked it to the report we are currently tracking:

Ability to have both "Retry All" and "Retry Incorrect Only" functionality within the same quiz

I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.
