360 Variables on Master and Slide
Oct 30, 2017
We do a lot of translations with vendors, and they recommended doing coding/gating an easier way. For slides with no clickable objects, it’s fine, but for slides with clickable objects you use the master slide, so if a user comes back to the slide, the slide is marked complete. We have the Next button hidden on all slides, so this cannot be changed. Right now Slide 4 I cannot get to work.
This is what the vendor said to do for clickable slides “For screens with clickable objects, the basic setup would be the same. The only difference being that you would also have variables for each click that would be set to true. And, once all click variables were true, the main slide variable would also be set to true. The click variables do not need to be unique for each page though, you can setup the variables in advance with names like "clickVariable_01, clickVariable_02, etc. Then, have a trigger in the slide template to set each click variable equal to false when the timeline starts (this will reset the click variables for each new slide, allowing you to reuse them). I just used the existing variables in you had in the last course though, since you already had them all created.“
You can view in SCORM Cloud how the course should work, up until that slide: https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/InvitationConfirmEmail?publicInvitationId=81e54749-d2ff-45b3-b4be-8524aa6dd2c6

Anyone??
You were evaluating "4Complete" right away and only once. I changed it to evaluate after each of the layers is closed.
Also, added the variables in a text box to the slide (which you should delete or hide) so you can watch them update.
I hope that helps.
