Action Script

I confused, when I import swf file (publised from captivate 3) in Articulate presenter 9, I don't have problems because Captivate 3 published the file with action script 2, and articulate presenter 9 work with action script 2,

But when I try import swf file (publised from captivate 5) in Articulate presenter 9, I have problems because captivate 5 and articulate presenter 9 are incompatibles, but you say that articulate storyline work with action script 3, SO why I have problems when I try to insert swf files (exported from articulate 5 - action script 3)???
