When I add some videos to SL 3 or Engage I notice that a time-bar progress shows up. I would love to know why some of them show this and not others. I am importing from Engage Studio 13. So that is one question.
BUT THE URGENT question I have now is how to convert an MP3 file so that participants can see the time-bar progress as the audio plays. Part of their assignment will be to make comments with notations in regard to this time-bar. Any ideas would be really appreciated.
The ability to include a time bar isn't included in the audio controls of Storyline. I have seen users create an audio file as an MP4 or another video type - and then you can enable and use the video controls which would show the separate seekbar.
You'd have to create the audio as an MP4 outside of Storyline.

It sounds like there are special settings for the videos when you are seeing the progress.
