Adding "Jump to Slide" feature in Resources Tab?
Apr 08, 2016
Hello to all you Storyline geniuses out there!
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to add slides from a Storyline course to the Resources tab in that same course. I have created an infographic in a scene in Storyline, but I'd really like the access to that infographic in the Resources tab since it is just a reference resource and not required reading in the course. (To clarify, I'd like learners to be able to click the built-in Resources tab and see a link for the infographic. When they click the link, the associated slide is called up.) Loading resource documents is kind of a challenge with the homegrown LMS we have, so I'd rather be able to pull directly from within the course than call up an external resource if possible. I don't see a way to do this, but I know there are some folks out there who might just know a good solution. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi, Lauren -- Thanks for reaching out! Do you happen to have a file already started that you would be able to share? That might help illustrate a bit more what you have in mind. Please use the grey ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box and you can upload from there.
And just in case these general resource-linking articles and posts may be of assistance, please see the following:

You cannot link to a slide from the resources area
Hi, Lauren -- Phil is right! While you will not be able to link to a place in your course from within the Resources tab, but you would be able to link to the Resources area from a slide. Hope that makes sense, and if that is something you are interested in checking out, you're welcome to check out the resources provided above. :)
Thanks Christie and Phil!
The resources Christie provided helped me solve my problem. Thanks, Christie!
