Is it possible to add a SCORM package to my Storyline project and have it play in the published course? If so, is there a tutorial or instruction for performing this task?
I'm not sure I understand what you're looking to do - Storyline when published for an LMS can be published as SCORM as described here. You could include a link to another course or even insert elements as a web object...but I may be off base as I'm not clear on what you'd like to set up.
A vendor send me a DVD that has a SCORM file for a Storyline course. I want to open the SCORM file in Storyline and save it as a project but I don't know how.
You won't be able to open a previously published course within Storyline to edit it. You'd need the original .story file to be able to open in Storyline and make any additional changes to the content. Since it appears this has been published for LMS, you could upload the entire contents of the published output folder to your LMS though.

Attached is an image of the SCORM files.
