Hi, I am newer to Storyline and still getting the hang of things. I have started to build a course with slides and slide layers that are triggered by buttons. Is there a way to make a trigger from a layer that would advance the learner to the next slide? When I add a trigger on the layer it seems to apply it to the base layer, not the layer that I wrote the trigger on. Do I need to add a condition that allows the slide to advance once the layer has been viewed?
Hi, if you put the button on the layer and add the trigger to that button, when you are on that layer you should be able to click that button and go to the slide you selected in the trigger.

That is a good work-around but do you happen to know if Is there a way to use the player triggers on layers other than the base layer?
