Hi! I need some help with building quizzes in Storyline 2. I have two quiz slides and a results slide. I can't figure out how to get it to advance to slide 2 (question 2) after the learner selects the correct answer on slide 1. I've been looking for tutorials but can't seem to find one. Please help! :)
Hi, Cortnie -- Have you come across this thread in your travels, by chance? You could use the 'submit' option as seen below:
Slide Navigation Controls
Use the check boxes to specify whether you want Prev, Next, and / or Submit buttons to appear on the selected slide(s). By default, content slides will have Prev and Next buttons, while quiz slides will have Submit buttons.
You know what, after I published the course, the quiz questions seemed to be working fine, which is strange because when I would preview it, it wouldn't advance like expected. It would say something about it not being supported. I'll keep playing! Thanks
Hi, Cortnie -- Thanks for the update, and in case you experiencing odd behavior in the future, I wanted to mention a few troubleshooting tips you can try, as well. Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline. In addition, it is always a good idea to test your published output in the intended environment, as well.
