Alt Text for a Single Storyline Slide with Multiple Zoom Regions

Jan 24, 2024

Hey there,

I've developed a single Storyline slide with a complex set of animations. When the timeline plays, the slide zooms in (using Zoom Regions), pauses, shows vector images and text, and then the learner must select the "X"s to continue to the next pause.

How should I add alt text to this single slide for learners with visual disabilities? Just using the regular Focus Order setting? What's complicated is that each zoomed-in region is a different aspect of the slide.

Here is the project link: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/fa44cc7a-8770-41c5-9278-30baddcd857c/review

Thank you,

Sam

My first instinct is separate slides or layers, and I don't think zooms work well with layers.

On the other hand, additional slides are free The way I read your question, most of the complication comes from having so many complexities on the same slide.

Create one thing on the slide, duplicate the slide, and change the text and alt text. An added benefit is cleaner faster workflow, along with less complexity.
