Animating images AFTER Timeline ends

Nov 11, 2013

I'm trying to figure out this functionality:

Images are animated to fly onto the page as Timeline starts.  They are stacked.  (I originally had images on page base layer, so they would be stacked 3,2, 1 -- so the #1 image is visible on top.  But then I can't manipulate them. When I put the images on separate layers, I can only stack two and the last one to show up is visible beneath the previous two layers.)

When you click on the top image, it animates off the page.

This is AFTER the Time has stopped,  because all images are on the page.

I can't figure out how that would work.

Do any Storyline Super Heroes have an idea of how that functionality functions>

Hi Ken:

Admittedly, I'm having a hard time understanding the issue.

It sounds like you are animating objects onto the stage using entrance animations, but you are having exit animation issues.

I'm completely lost as to what you are saying about the layers. Typically, if an image is on the lowest layer, it will be stacked lower (or under) the rest.

It is hard to tell, but it seems like you are trying to pause the images, then when you click on one image, they all do an exit animation?

If that is what you are trying to do, it can be done. I have attached a sample story file for you to see how to accomplish this animation.

If the attached story helps you, plase mark it as solved, if not, please attache your story, or provide a short storyboard describing the events you want to do and the order you want them done.

Best Regards,
