I think there should be a lot of such requests already since IMHO the motion paths are one of the most needed features. And I do not think that one has to make a business case out of it
I am very sure that the Articulate people know of this request and cannot integrate due to technical problems.
I saved a ppt slide as WMV and imported it in storyline. I selected the highest available quality (Computer and HD display) while exporting it. However, after publishing it in storyline the quality of the WMV is really poor. I even selected the highest available video quality while publishing. Is there any way to fix this?
There is some video compression within Storyline during the publish process, and depending on the video, the highest quality setting while publishing may not appear exactly as the original. There is a method described here by Mike Enders on how to replace the video after publishing with the original to keep the quality.
Hope that helps. Also, a number of users have shared it in the form of a feature request that they'd like to see the option to not have videos compressed in a future version of Storyline, you're welcome to chime in here as well!
