We're having a strange issue using Arabic text for the Resume Prompt Title and Text, for some reason the text displays correctly within the title but not in the text?
We've used various fonts (Arial Unicode MS is used above) and it's the same.
Can we create our own resume dialog? or does anyone have a solution please
I can't read Arabic, so I'm not fully certain what is off about the text. There isn't an option to create your own Resume prompt though. Have you seen the off text within the published output as well? I
If text on your slides publishes incorrectly, be sure to use a unicode font, such as Arial Unicode MS within your player labels, and the Storyline course itself.
Also, make sure that the font you're using is installed on your system. In some cases, a font may appear to be installed when it actually isn't. To verify which fonts are installed on your system, go to Start > Control Panel > Fonts.
I wasn't sure they said the same thing, so I wasn't entirely clear what to look at. Now, that I know that - I see the behavior you're describing. It looks like there is some odd spacing in the bottom portion (some spaces added, and others removed)? There was a known issue with spacing, but if was fixed in Update 1, and we're on update 4 now. Can you let us know what update of Storyline you're using? If it's a recent development for you in Update 4, please send along your .story file so that our team can look into it and do some additional testing.
We're currently on Storyline Update 4, as I mentioned for Marcus. Can you let us know if you're using that version, and if you'd like to share your files with us we're happy to take a look.
This is still an issue within Storyline 1 Update 5, and I believe update 6.
I haven't yet tested it in Storyline 2, but you can download the trial and check it out - as it's difficult for me to easily identify when the text is squished or not as users have mentioned in this thread.
It's now 2019, and I have the latest update of Articulate 360, and I'm experiencing a similar issue, but with Korean. The Resume Prompt title appears correctly, but the body text and the yes/no buttons are not displaying properly. Here is how the text should appear, and the attachment shows how it's actually appearing.

"Would you like to resume where you left off?" should be:
Hi there, Desiree. Sorry you're facing this oddity, and I'm glad you reached out in a case as well!
I see my teammate, Cleo, recently sent these initial troubleshooting steps:
Select Player > Text Labels and then set the language to Korean. Then, select Player > Colors & Effects. Set the Player font to 'Arial Unicode MS.' Click OK and republish the project.
Be sure to let us know if that solves the issue. We're standing by!

Thank you for your reply.
However, I couldn't of explained the issue very well.
As I mention above, I am already using Arial Unicode MS and the font must be install correctly as the Resume Prompt Title is displaying correctly.
But if you look at the image in my first post, the title and the text has the same Arabic in however, you can clearly see that they are different.
The title is correct but the text is not, you don't have to be able to read Arabic to notice that they are not the same!

Thanks Ashley.
For me I am using update 4 and have the same issue as Marcus.
Hi Abdallah,
I don't see where Marcus shared his file with our Support team, so if you'd like to send them along we're happy to take a look.
Hi everyone,
We would be interested to know if there is a solution because we found the same problem using Update 5.
Clients can understand when they have compex request that can not answered, but this one seems simple to them.
Maybe this issue is solved with Storyline 2 ?

Hi Katie,
Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, those recommendations did not solve the issue. I sent the file to Cleo for further investigation.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
