Are SL360 Simulations considered "Media-Rich"? Should we use x64 for them?

May 13, 2024

I guess the question is in the title.  I wasn't sure if Media-Rich meant any large files, including the Storyline Simulations.

We use Captivate 2019 currently, which outputs large files, and therefore would think we should use x64 Beta for that.

SL is using the slides within the Player, though, so not sure if it would make much difference.

Have you found it worth moving to the Beta version for Sims?  Our eLearning is purely software sims and up until now we have been using SL3.

Thanks everyone, in advance, for your feedback.

Hi Steve,

In the context of the post, media-rich projects meant having plenty of high-resolution images and high-definition videos in a single project. Storyline 360 Step-By-Step slides have audio and video files, but the 32-bit version was already capable of processing them. The 64-bit version can handle more of these media files at a larger scale!
