Is Aritculate 2.0 pure HTML5 or does is use Flash? This is of concern as Flash is going out and I would like to be assured that if I upgrade to 2.0 that we have full HTML5 compliance.
Yes, this is currently the case with the current version, but there is no option to produce purely HTML5 content. Its either flash or Flash + HTML5 (to accomodate mobile platforms).
So, does 2.0 allow just pure HTML5 outline alone? If it does then I can look into upgrading, otherwise it may mean that I will have to ditch Ariticulate and use Adobe Captivate 9 which has full HTML5 supported output.
well you can not produce purely HTML5-content but there is a workaround. When you have uploaded the material you can link on the story_html5.html-file then you can watch the HTML5-content on a desktop machine without any flash plugins and its security problems.

Hi Zaahid,
you have the option to create output in HTML5 and in Flash.
I can understand your concern. A lot of companies are at least thinking about prohibiting Flash due to security reasons.
Best regards
Ralf

Hi Zaahid,
It looks like Ralf has you covered here, and I did want to share the information in regards to our viewing requirements for supported HTML5 viewing and the article on how to publish for mobile.
