Hi! I love making characters like this.. But what I want to do is add them to the insert picture orinsert characters from the menu bar. Is there a ways to add my characters to the storyline images?
Actually, that isn't correct. It is possible to include characters that will work like the default characters but it takes some work. PM me if you want to find out more.

It looks like you're viewing the published output on your D drive? I'd suggest checking that you've published locally to path such as your desktop or C: drive, and then once you're ready to view the published output upload it to the intended environment ( Web, LMS, etc.). Testing it locally could cause you to encounter security issues with the browsers and prevent playback.
It looks like you may be viewing your published output locally on your computer. Be sure to upload your content to the intended environment (web, LMS) and test in that environment. I would also advise using your local drive (typically your C: drive) for your files as well.
I've included some documentation and links below:
When you view a Storyline 2 course on your local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that can cause various features of the course to fail. To test your published content and share it with others, it's best to upload it to a web server or LMS. See this article for details.
When creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Storyline courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior due to latency, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources. See this article for more information.

Good Afternoon, Claudia:
Here's a Screenr from David Anderson on how to use your own photos & illustrations to create character packs in Articulate Storyline:
The Illustrated Character Packs are in .wmf format.
Hey Claudia,
It is possible to create your own custom characters. Here are some links that provide some insight.

that would rock!!
Hi Carrie,
There isn't a way to include the characters within the built in "Insert" functionality so you'll need to look at inserting them as standard images.

Sorry Jerson - correction, it's not something I can assist with or offer support for. :-)
Carrie, you're in good hands with Jerson though - he does a lot of work and examples in the forums focused on characters.
