Is anyone experiencing anything wonky with Articulate tempshare today, May 15, 2017? I did the Windows update yesterday, so i'm not sure if that's it, but today I tried to publish one of my files to tempshare. Some of the graphics and triggers were missing.
Sorry you're seeing some odd behavior in Tempshare! I just checked on ArticulateStatus.com, and it doesn't show that there were any recent issues happening there.
What version of Storyline are you using, and what browser did you use to access Tempshare? Let me know if you're still seeing this problem, and I'll take a closer look at your file to see what's going on.
Ive been working this way for over a year and haven't had a problem. I just asked someone on my team to try publishing my file to see if they run into the same problem.
No yours looks like it should. On mine, when you hover over the side icons, you don't see the finger pointer...and the text in the narration bar is not formatted. So could it be the recent windows update I did this week?
So after doing the windows update, I did get a message at Tempshare telling me I would need to allow Flash. I did.
I tried to publish it using Chrome and all the spacing on my narration is all off.
ugh, this is so frustrating. I've been doing the exact same thing for 18 months on this project. It has to be the recent update. What else can it be??!
Here is a pic of how I am publishing it. But again, this is how I've been doing it all along.
So I had a colleague publish my file using tempshare and everything is perfect. So clearly it has to be something related to the recent Windows update and maybe flash!?? Any suggestions??
Oh, that is frustrating. Hopefully your IT team will be able to get to the bottom of it since the issue is limited to your machine. To be sure, can you share your Tempshare link with me?

Thanks Alyssa.
I am using Microsoft Edge and the most current version of Articulate 2. I just did the Windows update, not sure if something happened there.
Hmm, I see. Microsoft Edge is a supported browser for Flash content, but not for HTML5 content. Are you viewing the content with HTML5?
If you can share your file, I'd be interested in testing it on my end.
I just tried it again, and for some reason it's still doing the same thing. I pulled out one slide from the file so you can take a look.

So I just tried it on google chrome, it worked, but the formatting of my text in the narration panel is off. ugh. any thoughts!?
Hi Kelli,
Thanks for sending over your file! I published it for Web and uploaded it to Tempshare. Here's a recording of my test in Microsoft Edge 38. Is that different than what you're seeing?

Hi Kelli,
I think you may be viewing the HTML5 version of the content. Here's how you can tell--do you see story_html5.html at the end of the URL?
When I viewed the HTML5 version of your content, I also saw incorrect formatting in the narration tab, and the side icons were not clickable.
This is because Microsoft Edge is not a supported browser for HTML5 Storyline 2 content--Chrome is a better choice.
If you'd rather use Microsoft Edge, you'll want to switch to viewing Flash. To do that, change the end of the URL from story_html5.html to story.html.
Give that a try, and let me know if you notice a difference!

Here are two comparisons.
What it looks like when I view via Tempshare....via Edge, and then what it looks like when I do a preview in SL.
Thanks for your help!
Yes, I get the same thing no matter if it's html5.html, or not.
