I have changed out laptops, changed out microphones, turned off wi-fi and all connectivity and when audio is recorded, there are occasional 'hiccups' where a word will get jumbled. It caused me or the SME to have to re-record several times. Have you had this reported and what can we try?
You may want to check into which audio devices are enabled and ensuring they're all working properly outside of Storyline as well by doing a test recording in another program. I've also heard of other random things (like wifi, microphones, etc.) impacting the audio like having the computer plugged in/not plugged in to a power source and it seems to be random to the user's set up.
Hmm this seems to be a Storyline issue. I have the same problem. My devices are enabled and recordings are fine when I record using Audactiy software. When I record inside Storyline though, I have the occasional slide that will sound fine... I'll save it, move on. Then I'll open up Storyline again the next day and it will sound crazy! The audio will just repeat itself over and over again and turn into a jumbled mess. Going to try to repair the software today...
Thank you for the tips. I have tried all of the listed potential variances EXCEPT unplugging the laptop from the power source. I will try that and if I have success, will let you know. Thanks again.

Hi Suleman and welcome to Heroes,
Sorry to hear that you're experiencing some odd behavior with your audio. In addition to conducting the repair, can you also confirm that:
Ashley and Suleman,
Thank you for the tips. I have tried all of the listed potential variances EXCEPT unplugging the laptop from the power source. I will try that and if I have success, will let you know. Thanks again.
