Audio Layer
Jul 01, 2013
I have a marker on my main layer, with a trigger on it so show audio on separate later when the mouse hovers over the marker. if the mouse leaves the marker and returns before the audio is finished playing, the audio restarts from the beginning of the track. However, once the audio is finished.. if the mouse leaves the marker and returns, the audio will no longer play until that slide is exited and returned to.
Is there a setting that I'm missing so no matter how far along the audio track is played, once the mouse leaves and returns to the marker the audio will re-start?
Here are the settings I have for the marker / trigger, and the audio layer.

Maybe try changing 'When revisiting' from 'Automatically Decide' to 'Reset to initial state'?
That was actually my first solution. I tried doing that for multiple audio layers while keeping some at the above setting, and it didn't change anything.
Try adding a trigger on the layer that says 'Play media FILENAME when timeline starts'.
Check hide timeline when finishes, ensure the timeline ends when the audio ends.
Rebecca, it worked! I put the trigger on the actual audio file that has its own layer.
Phil, I did try your response as well, but no luck!
Thanks for the help! !
