Audio "player" for a layer
Feb 25, 2014
Hello,
I'm working with tabs and FAQ interactions and I want to have separate audio files for each layer. I would like to have the user be able to pause and replay the audio as well as see a progress bar as it plays. I noticed that if I convert the audio file to a video file, I can use the controls with the video player but I'm wondering if there is any other solution. Is there any way to configure graphics or markers to simulate an audio-only player. Also, if I have to use the video player, can I change it's color?
Thanks,
-Ed

Hi Ed,
You may want to review this thread, as it's pretty much the same set up you'd like to do with adding a play/pause button and a number of progress bar options.
I don't believe there is a way to edit the color of the video controls.
Thanks, this is very helpful. -Ed
Glad I could help Ed.
I have made a javascript option that captures the audio on the page, and creates a html5 control/progress bar. If you feel somewhat comfortable with js, I can send it to you.
Hello Snorre Rubin,
Is the JavaScript still available for html5 control/progress bar?
Thank you in advance.
Nicole
I would love to see that JS, too!
Could you please send me the JS for the html5 control/progress bar? Thank you!
