Auto Image re-size and inserting equations

Jan 12, 2018

Hi there

I am wondering if there's a way to turn off the auto-size when you're inserting an image? When I try to insert images they automatically seem to stretch to fill the space when in reality I want them the size I created.

This happens with regular images but also for when I am trying to insert equations into storyline. I have been using PPT to create my equations, then I save them as images with transparent background. I set them to be the correct font and size I need for my standard but then when I go to put them into storyline it's auto-stretching them to fill the space regardless of what my original size started as.

Trying to fix this in storyline is difficult and I end up with various sized equations. lol

Thanks for any insight.

Suggestion for future Storyline development: in house system for building equations ;)

Hi Stephanie,

When you insert an image into Storyline, it should come in at its original size unless the image is larger than the slide size, in which case it'll adjust to fit the screen. Is that not what's happening in your case?
