I've set up a layer to show when the user clicks Next and the interactive content on the slide hasn't been interacted with.
My formula is simple:
Show layer when user click next if
countA = 0
or countB = 0
or countC = 0
On the other objects, I have the formula set to add 1 to each variable whenever the user clicks on it.
The problem I'm having is no matter what I do, that layer always pops up when the timeline ends. I have nothing set up to trigger at the end of the timeline, so why is this showing up? I only want it to show up if the user clicks Next too soon.
Found the problem. My slide properties was set to "Automatically" move from this slide to the next. For some reason that made my hidden layer show up because the automatically continue must be programmed in the back to hit the next button.

Hi Andrew,
These things are quite difficult to diagnose without seeing the file itself, could you upload the trouble slide for us to have a look at?
Harri
also, is this a SL1 or SL2 file?
I tried uploading the entire Storyline file earlier, but it was giving me an error. This is SL1.
Thank you for looking at it!

Glad you were able to get this sorted Andrew and thanks for popping back in with an update and solution
Oh sorry, I didn't realise my reply had shown up blank...odd...but yeah that was what I found too
