HTML5 output doesn't currently support the same browser settings as Flash output. The Player: Other section of this matrix illustrates your options. And if you're designing a course that'll be viewed on an iPad, you'll want to use a 4:3 aspect ratio in order to make the best use of all the screen area. This article has more details. Hope that's helpful!
I recently purchased Studio "13 in hopes to give access to our iPad users. I just found out that our LMS providers do not have Tin Can and HTML5 won't work either. Their suggestion was to upload a scorm file. The scorm file did upload on the iPad but the screen was oversized so the controls didn't show. I've tried different settings for the palyer but the results are the same. I did a search on browser sizes for iPads and the size was 1024 x 840 4:3 ratio. I wanted to setup my slides from the start but all I see are inches hoping this my resolve the problem. I have been using 4:3 ratio slide 10" x 7.5". Can anyone tell me what the iPad ratio size is in inches?~thanks, Christy
I did a quick google search to find a way to convert pixels to images, and came up with 10.67 inches by 8.75 inches based on your 1024 x 840 pixels, also with a DPI set to 96.
