I've built a QCM e-learning module checking "use articulate mobile player for Ios and android" (with Moodle LMS), and when I want to read it on my ipad I have the following message "impossible d'accéder à Access content" (impossible to read the content).
I have allowed the web service for mobile devices. I use Moodle 2.6.11+ version.
The articulate mobile player can only access content behind a login if the content is published to TinCan, Moodle doesn't support tinCan so you would not be able to use th AMP in Moodle without using a TinCan plugin
thank you for answering, but the problem with tin can is to put the module in an other URL : this module is not protected any more (we need to protect the module to avoid everybody to see it). Does an other solution exist ?
a protected module cannot be accessed by the mobile player, there is no solution as this is working as intended. The AMP does not have a browser element and cannot pass verification
If you removed the option in publishing for the Mobile Player you could access the content from your LMS by viewing the HTML5 content. Just ensure you're viewing it in one of the supported browsers detailed here.
Thank you Ashley, I'll check the browsers detailed, I have already tryed with HTLM5 content but I also have big bugs....
Thank you Phil for your answer, to clarify my comments, if I host the module in an other URL with Tin Can, everybody can read it, and we are a private class, the content musn't be seen by everybody. Is there a solution ? Thank you for your help
