When I create a hyperlink I am trying to link it to a file on our organisations servers which when launched doesn't inlcude http:// But everytime I edit the hyperlink it includes it, so the link then doesn't work. Can I make it so that Storyline doesn't automatically included it in my link?
Ha, yes it does. Think I may have just cracked it though!
I found that the URL for the Resource tab is in the Frame.xml file. I edited it in Notepad and got rid of the http:// and replaced it with "file:\\filelocation\filelocation\filename.pdf" making sure they were all backslashes and it seems to be working....got there in the end!

Hi Nicola, Add a trigger Jump to URL.
When you add a URL Double click on the URL in the trigger pan and remove "http://" from there
Hope this helps
Thanks for the quick response. I also need to have it linked from the Resources tab.
Can I stop the URL adding it there also?
Nicola it looks difficult.
