In our organization, web masters do their development on a network drive. The network drive is backed up for file protection.
I'm going to be starting a Storyline project and am considering doing Storyline development on a network drive. Is there any problem in doing development in Storyline on a network drive? Does Storyline development need to be on the internal C drive or can it be done on a network drive?
Great question to ask before-hand because yes, you need to work on your local drive.
Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior so be sure that you are working on your local drive (your C: drive).
Hope this helps and good luck with your upcoming project!
