In SL1, when you adjusted an element on the timeline, it highlighted that space in yellow--making it very easy to see, and easy to adjust as you needed it. In SL2, it highlights in a very pale blue, hardly discernible from the white background (my coworker was unable to distinguish it from the background).
Is there a way this highlight color can be adjusted to a different color?
There isn't a way to change this color, as it's a part of the overall Storyline 2 UI - if you can believe it I remember in the Beta instead of blue, it was originally purple! You are welcome to share your thoughts in the form of a feature request here as David mentioned.

Oh my gosh I agree! The blue highlighting is so subtle that most the time I can't see it. If there is one thing that Articulate should fix it is this!
What a relief to know I'm not the only one! Maybe in the next update they can make this adjustment; too bad 5 just came out!
Unfortunately, I don't think that will be the case. If you want this, put in a feature request and they may get around to it, or they may not...
