I have a slide that the learners return to frequently, and I'd like to have the audio instructions play the first time only. How can I do this? I know I can make two versions of the slide and have the second one without the audio, but it would be cool if I could just handle this through variables.
You could use a 'AudioPlayed' True/False variable that plays the audio only if the variable is false. Once the audio completes, this variable is set to True, which ensures that if you revisit the slide, the audio is not played again.See attached a quick example.
